Holiday Garbage and Curbside Recycle Schedule

The Tyler Recycle Center will be closed on Friday, April 3. 

Good Friday - April 3, 2026

Monday 3/30– Regular collection

Tuesday 3/31– Regular collection

Wednesday 4/1 – Routes normally collected Thursday

Thursday 4/2 – Routes normally collected Friday

Friday 4/3 – No collection

Yard waste of any kind including brush, tree limbs or bags of leaves may not be picked up during the holiday week. To reduce the chance of animals or weather scattering trash, please do not set garbage carts out before 6 p.m. on the day before the scheduled collection day. Per Sec. 16-4 ordinance, garbage carts must be removed by 7 a.m. the morning after the scheduled collection day. 

Holiday calendars for garbage, and Holiday calendars are posted on our web page.   During holiday weeks, priority is given to household waste. Crews will pick up as much curb trash and yard waste as time and/or space allows.
