The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department is thrilled to host the 2025 Summer Playground Program and Glass Summer Camp for kids 6 to 12 years old this summer. The programs will begin on Monday, June 9 through Friday, Aug. 1. Registration opens on April 1! Registration can be completed by visiting Glass Summer Camps. 

Program Overview

Playground and camp leaders will be at each location to provide planned activities such as sports games, arts and crafts, fun water activities and special visits from local organizations. Participants of both programs will also be able to go on field trips and swim at Fun Forest Pool. Each location will provide daily breakfast and lunch.

Glass Summer Camp:

The Glass Summer Camp will be from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for children ages 6 to 12, with a cost of $225 per child. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Camp will include daily recreation activities, games, sports, arts and crafts and weekly trips including Fun Forest Pool. 

Summer Playground Program: 

The Summer Playground Program is FREE, but registration is required! Each location will have summer recreation staff to provide planned activities, games, and arts and crafts! Daily breakfast and lunch will be provided. 

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Breakfast 9-9:30 a.m. / Lunch 11-11:30 a.m.
