Memberships

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Glass Recreation Center. Whether you are looking to get fit, or just have fun, the Glass Recreation Center is the place to be. This multi-use facility includes a cardio room, weight room, indoor track, large gymnasium, walking trail, computer room, multipurpose rooms, fitness classes, athletic leagues, and more. 

Rates Annual Fee

  • Residents - $40/year 
  • Non-Residents - $50/year
  • Youth - $20/year

Glass Rec Instructor Inquiries

 The Glass Recreation Center is looking for instructors. If you would like to teach kickboxing, yoga, or other fitness class, fill out our Instructor Inquiry Form

Classes  

The Glass Recreation Center offers a variety of classes each season for it's members. Non-members must purchase a day pass to participate in a class.

Leagues

The City of Tyler Parks and Recreation Department offers many adult and youth sport leagues at the Glass Recreation Center. For more information, call (903) 595-7271.

Woldert Pond-Neighborhood Fishing  

Woldert Pond is part of the Neighborhood Fishing Program and stocked with trout, we invite families to come out and fish! The Glass Recreation Center has ready to go fishing poles for check out at the front desk. Please have an ID ready. Bring your own bait and tackle.

*All those wishing to fish over the age of 17 must have a valid fishing license as per Texas Parks & Wildlife Guidelines.
