Don’t miss the Tyler Parks and Recreation’s annual Easter Egg - Stravaganza on Thursday, April 2, at Lindsey Park, located at 12557 Spur 344 W. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. and conclude with Easter Egg hunts on the softball fields.

Event Details 2026

Time: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. (Entertainment)

The event will include a variety of family-friendly activities such as a live DJ, face painting, putt-putt, balloon artist, vendor booths with games, a golden egg scavenger hunt, a photo op, and a jellybean contest. Food trucks will be available for a fee.

Egg Hunt Schedule:

6:45 p.m. – Special Needs / Ages 4 & under (parents allowed)
7 p.m. - Children ages 5 to 6
7:20 p.m. - Children ages 7 to 9
7:45 p.m. - Ages 10 and Older 
8:15 p.m. - Adults 18+

Hunt times are subject to change depending on circumstances. Only one group at a time will hunt. Parents are not allowed on the field during hunt time, except during the special needs and ages 4 and under time slot. Lights will remain on during all hunts.

The adult egg hunt is first-come, first-served and requires a wristband. Wristbands can be picked up at the information table on event day. The hunt will start at 8:15 p.m., and ticket prizes can be claimed at the information table immediately after, until 9 p.m. Tickets are required to claim prizes.

Admission is free, but children should bring their own Easter baskets.
