Summer Reading Challenge

June 2 to July 25

All age kids from birth to Grade 12 as well as adults can sign up to take on the Summer Reading Challenge! Kids of all ages are challenged to complete the bingo card for their age category to earn rewards including a free book, goody bag and eligibility for raffle prizes upon completion! Once children and teens have finished the challenge, be sure to designate raffle tickets to the prizes you would most like to win. Raffle tickets must be designated before the reading challenge ends on July 25. Raffle winners will be drawn and notified by August 1. Kids may pick up their free book and goody bag any time after they complete the challenge at the front desk. The final pickup day for all reward and raffle pickups is August 31.

Fine forgiveness is available once for all children and adults who sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge. Forgiveness is for fines only and does not cover fees for lost or damaged materials or collection fees. After signing up, show that you have signed up on Beanstack to the front desk staff to redeem. Fine forgiveness must be used by July 31, 2025.

Summer Activities

Childcares, join us this summer for events for kids! Due to limited space, registration is required for childcares. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be contacted regarding the status of your form request within two business days

Visit the Library

Library visits can be scheduled for groups. Visits typically include a library tour and age-appropriate program such as story time or book bingo. To request a visit to the library for a group, fill out the Tour the Library form. Tours unavailable during June and July.
