CPR Class
Infant, Child, and Adult CPR
Feb. 18 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. | Auditorium (First Floor)
The American Heart Association will have an educational workshop for infant, child, and adult CPR. Since this workshop is educational, there is no certification at the end. Registration is not required.
New Youth Volunteer Orientation
Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor)
For tweens 12 years of age to teens in Grade 12: Tweens and teens can sign up to become Library youth volunteers by attending a required new volunteer orientation. Attendees will learn about volunteer opportunities, manage their volunteer timesheets, and more. Registration is required. Sign up here.
Bringing Butterflies into Your Backyard

For Grades K-12: With Master Gardener Elizabeth Waldrop. Learn about the importance of butterflies in our community and how to attract them to your own yard. Registration is required. Sign up here.
Dungeons and Dragons Club
Feb. 3 and 17 at 5 p.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor)
For Grades 8-12: Tweens and teens can learn the role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons on the first and third Tuesdays each month. Club registration is required. Registration is currently closed.
Winter Reading Challenge
Reward Pickup
- All age children and teens may pick up their free book at the front desk any time after completion through February 28. Parents are asked to show completion in the Beanstack app or provide a printed reading log/bingo card that has been completed upon arrival.
- Adults: Raffle winner will be notified by February 7 and will have two weeks to pick up their reward.
Art 4 Fun

Open Makerspace
Feb. 13 at 10:30 a.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor)
Join library staff in the Makerspace to build, tinker, or create art. This come-and-go program is for children pre-K through Grade 12 and their families.
Lego Challenge Club

Each month, our Rover Cart features a STEAM-oriented activity for kids to do when they visit the library. February will feature a stamp art activity.
