Camping Kit
Early Literacy Kits
Read, write, sing, play, and talk with your child. Parents are their child’s first teacher, and the library aims to support parents in this endeavor by providing a toolkit to encourage early learning and foster literacy at home. Kits are geared toward toddlers and preschoolers. Each kit contains five picture books, one children’s music CD, and a developmentally appropriate toy.
Early Literacy Kits can be checked out for three weeks with no renewals.
Kits should be returned during regular library hours at the circulation desk or inside book return. Please do not return kits to the outside book return as the kit’s contents could be damaged. The patron is held responsible for all damages.
STEAM Kits
STEAM kits are geared toward Pre-K to 3rd grade students to read and learn new concepts through hands-on activities in one of the following subject areas: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, or Math. STEAM books and activities in kits support the development of 21st century skills and make learning fun by encouraging exploration.
STEAM Kits can be checked out for three weeks with no renewals.

Language Kits
Language Kits are available for all ages. There are kits for kids and adults. These include some Hooked on Phonics, Spanish and English learning, and more. These kits typically include a book and a DVD or CD on the topic.
Language Kits can be checked out for six weeks with no renewals.

Blood Pressure Kits
Blood pressure kits are available for checkout from the information desk. These kits include a blood pressure monitor, arm cuff, AC adapter, user's guide, and educational materials. Patrons who check out these kits can keep the understanding blood pressure book, chronic illness print booklet, NET Health's Center for Healthy Living brochure, and passport book with blood pressure readings.
Blood Pressure kits can be checked out for one week. Renewals are available upon request at the information desk.

Camping Kit
The Camping Kit is available on the first top shelf of the Board Games collection. This item can be checked out for two weeks with no renewals by an adult cardholder. In it is (almost) everything you need for a wonderful day out in nature!
Please ensure that all items are put back into the backpack before returning the kit to the library. Any items not returned will be charged to the account of the person who last checked out the item.
Some of items, such as the sunscreen and the first aid kit, may run out. Please let us know if we need to replenish any of these items. Other items may be used as needed and the patron won't be charged for this. The Camping Kit has a comprehensive list of what items must be returned to avoid charges and which may be used up.
