Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

  • Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
  • Special speakers & performers
  • 3D printer & supplies
  • Reading programs & prizes
  • Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
  • Seed library upkeep
  • Programming supplies
  • And so much more!

Library Calendar

Library Closed: New Year Day

The library will be closed for New Year's Day.

Patrons can still return materials using the book drops at Pollard Park and the Faulkner Park Police Station. The AV book drop at the Tyler Public Library will also be available. All materials returned during this time will be back-dated to ensure no late-fees are added. The Library will resume normal hours on January 2 at 10 a.m.
