Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
Special speakers & performers
3D printer & supplies
Reading programs & prizes
Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
Seed library upkeep
Programming supplies
And so much more!

Chess club is provided by a volunteer for the Tyler Public Library. Bring your chess board and come play with others, hone your chess skills, and learn more!

Chess Club is the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays (except on holidays) in the Makerspace.
