Dungeons and Dragons Club 

Mar. 3 and 17 at 5 p.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor)

For Grades 8-12: Tweens and teens can learn the role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons on the first and third Tuesdays each month.  Club registration is required.  Registration is currently closed.

Paper House Contest (All Month Long)

For children of all ages. Rover Cart (First Floor).

It’s time for the Library’s fifth annual Paper House Contest for all age kids from Oct. 1-31! Thank you to the Friends of the Tyler Public Library for providing craft materials for children to make their creations!

Rules
Children may enter one or both of the categories: Category 1—Everyday Houses and Buildings and Category 2—Haunted Houses and Fall Houses. Children may use supplies provided at the library’s craft cart or may use supplies from home. Items such as paper, straws, buttons, plastic bottles, milk cartons, etc. may be used to create a paper house. For display purposes, the size of paper houses is limited to no bigger than the size of a gallon milk jug. Once done, children can bring their paper house to the library by October 31 to enter the contest. A library card is not required to participate.

Rewards
One winner from each category will be announced Nov. 1.
