Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

  • Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
  • Special speakers & performers
  • 3D printer & supplies
  • Reading programs & prizes
  • Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
  • Seed library upkeep
  • Programming supplies
  • And so much more!

1. Call the meeting to order.

2. Conduct a roll call, establish a quorum, and explain the rules of decorum.

3. Discuss and consider minutes from the previous April 23, 2025, board meeting.

4. Review, discuss, and consider the draft Library Privacy Policy in accordance with the 2026 Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) Standards for Accreditation.

5. Review, discuss, and consider the draft Internet and Computer Use Policy in accordance with the 2026 Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) Standards for Accreditation.
