Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
Special speakers & performers
3D printer & supplies
Reading programs & prizes
Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
Seed library upkeep
Programming supplies
And so much more!

Great Gatsby Gala_2025

On July 18th get ready to enjoy some Jazz Age Vibes and Romantic Memories as we host an evening of fun at the library inspired by the classic American novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Patrons are encouraged to dress up in the fashion of the time and join us as for Speakeasy fun, games, dancing, trivia and more!
