Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

  • Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
  • Special speakers & performers
  • 3D printer & supplies
  • Reading programs & prizes
  • Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
  • Seed library upkeep
  • Programming supplies
  • And so much more!

Stories from Rose Hill

Happy International Women's Day

  • Date: 03/08/2025 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM  
Mar 8th: Join members of the Tyler Public Library at Rose Hill Cemetery on Broadway and Donnybrook for our second cemetery walk as we celebrate the lives of notable women who lived in Tyler. Beginning at 2PM the event will include narratives delivered by staff members that will include anecdotes, family histories, and general information about the women buried in Rose Hill who contributed to Tyler's community and history.
