Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

  • Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
  • Special speakers & performers
  • 3D printer & supplies
  • Reading programs & prizes
  • Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
  • Seed library upkeep
  • Programming supplies
  • And so much more!

3rd annual Downtown Tyler Arts Festival

The 3rd Annual Downtown Tyler Arts Festival is taking place on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Downtown Tyler Square, hosted by the Main Street department and Tyler Art Lift, a non-profit organization designed to support local artists. 

The festival celebrates and supports the local art community that is blossoming in Tyler and will feature artist booths, a scavenger hunt, live music, live painting, a community canvas and more!
