Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

  • Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
  • Special speakers & performers
  • 3D printer & supplies
  • Reading programs & prizes
  • Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
  • Seed library upkeep
  • Programming supplies
  • And so much more!

Teen Council Project Team

For teens Grade 8-12. Makerspace (Third Floor).

Teen Council will meet Thursday, March 14 from 5:15-6:45 p.m.  This month's project will focus on National Library Week for April.  Teen Council Project Team is open for volunteers in grades 8-12. If you have friends who would like to join the council but are not library volunteers, they may attend to learn more about the council and can be set up to become a new volunteer with staff help.
