Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

  • Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
  • Special speakers & performers
  • 3D printer & supplies
  • Reading programs & prizes
  • Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
  • Seed library upkeep
  • Programming supplies
  • And so much more!

Our Promise - College and Career Showcase

  • Date: 02/10/2024 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM  

Our Promise - College and Career Showcase is taking place on Saturday, Feb. 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Downtown Tyler Square. The event will highlight opportunities in higher education, entrepreneurship and social organizations. Local Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and area colleges and universities will have booths to showcase different educational possibilities.
