Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

  • Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
  • Special speakers & performers
  • 3D printer & supplies
  • Reading programs & prizes
  • Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
  • Seed library upkeep
  • Programming supplies
  • And so much more!

  1. Call meeting to order.
  2. Conduct a roll call, establish a quorum, and explain the rules of decorum.
  3. Consider approval of minutes from the previous board meeting held on September 27, 2023.
  4. Review and discuss programming statistics for the following programs:
    1. Winter Reading Challenge
    2. Music Makers music and movement program for babies and preschoolers.
    3. Weird West Escape Room
    4. The Oregon Trail live-action, self-guided game.
    5. Computer Lab Statistics
    6. Notarization Statistics for Notary Services provided by Library Staff to the Public.
