Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

  • Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
  • Special speakers & performers
  • 3D printer & supplies
  • Reading programs & prizes
  • Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
  • Seed library upkeep
  • Programming supplies
  • And so much more!

Weird West Escape Room

  • Date: 01/11/2024  (all day)

A deranged rail baron has trapped your group on a train with a course set for destruction! You must find a way to stop the train before time runs out! Join us in the Third Floor Makerspace for an exciting steampunk adventure set in the world of the popular roleplaying game, Deadlands. It is sure to be an experience you won't forget!

Days and times for the escape room are as follows: 

Thursday (Jan. 11), 4:00pm - 7:00pm

Friday (Jan. 12), 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Saturday (Jan. 13), 12:00pm - 5:00pm
