Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

  • Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
  • Special speakers & performers
  • 3D printer & supplies
  • Reading programs & prizes
  • Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
  • Seed library upkeep
  • Programming supplies
  • And so much more!

Club Read

Monthly Adult Book Club

Club Read is our monthly book club, who meets to discuss books of all sorts! Come join us on the final Tuesday of each month in the Makerspace at 10 a.m. as we discuss our likes, dislikes, and all in between. For January, we will be reading Booth by Karen Joy Fowler on Oct 31st.

 Club Read does not meet in December.
