Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
Special speakers & performers
3D printer & supplies
Reading programs & prizes
Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
Seed library upkeep
Programming supplies
And so much more!

Tweens in 5th-7th grade can join the TWAC and help brainstorm tween programs and influence library collections and services for tweens. Tweens on the council who are at least 12 years of age are eligible to earn volunteer credit.
