Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

  • Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
  • Special speakers & performers
  • 3D printer & supplies
  • Reading programs & prizes
  • Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
  • Seed library upkeep
  • Programming supplies
  • And so much more!

Makerspace Rover

All month long. For kids of all ages. "Paper House Contest."

This month's Rover activity is our second annual Paper House Contest!  Kids can pick up paper house making supplies at the Rover cart or use at-home supplies to make their own house.

To participate in the contest, paper houses should be no larger than a gallon of milk and should have an entry form with them.

Paper houses and entry forms must be submitted by November 30.  Five lucky winners will be announced December 1!
