Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
Special speakers & performers
3D printer & supplies
Reading programs & prizes
Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
Seed library upkeep
Programming supplies
And so much more!

Study Buddies is a tutoring program for children in Grades K-6 led by our Library teen volunteers. Teen tutors can help children with assignments and schoolwork in the following subject areas: math, science, social studies, reading, and language arts. To learn more information or apply to be a teen Library volunteer tutor visit www.TylerLibrary.com. Application deadline is September 18.
