Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
Special speakers & performers
3D printer & supplies
Reading programs & prizes
Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
Seed library upkeep
Programming supplies
And so much more!

Teens in 8th-12th grade are invited to join the library's Teen Advisory Council's first meeting. Teens on the council will be able to help influence the library's teen collection and programs. Teens on the council will also earn volunteer credit hours. Located in the Auditorium.
