AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT NOTICE

The City of Tyler wants to ensure that Tyler Public Library Advisory Board meetings are accessible to persons with disabilities. If any individual needs special assistance or accommodations in order to attend this board meeting, please contact the Tyler Public Library at (903) 593-7323 in advance so accommodations can be made.

As mandated by Texas Government Code Section 551.127(b), the Tyler Public Library Advisory Board intends to conduct this meeting with a quorum of the Board members physically present at the meeting location referenced above. Under Texas Government Code Section 551.127(a-1), a member of a governmental body may participate remotely in a meeting of the governmental body by means of a videoconference call if the video and audio feed of the member’s participation is broadcast live at the meeting and otherwise complies with Texas Government Code Section 551.127. Pursuant to the Texas Government Code and due to the current COVID-19 pandemic health emergency, the Tyler Public Library Board intends to allow one or more members of the Board to attend this posted meeting via videoconference call via live video and audio feed, as long as a quorum of the Board members is otherwise physically present at the posted meeting location.
