Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

  • Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
  • Special speakers & performers
  • 3D printer & supplies
  • Reading programs & prizes
  • Public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
  • Seed library upkeep
  • Programming supplies
  • And so much more!

Library Calendar

Beginner Computer Classes

Registration Required

Learn computer basics with library staff. Registration is required as attendance is limited. Register by calling the library at (903) 593/7323 or sign up in the computer lab. Classes will be held on the following Thursdays from 8:30/9:30 a.m. in the library computer lab. November 4: Intro to Excel, PowerPoint, & Publisher November 18: Intro to Social Media
