VARIANCE ITEMS:

1. V22-024 MELISSA AND JOHN GREEN (6219 HUNTINGTON DRIVE) 
The application of Melissa and John Green, owners of Lot 9 of NCB 1434R, one lot totaling approximately 0.27 acres of land located south of the southwest intersection of Huntington Drive and Raintree Drive (6219 Huntington Drive). The property is currently zoned “R-1A”, Single-Family Residential District. 

The applicant is requesting a variance to Tyler City Code Section 10-92.d, “Sideyards”, which specifies that a carport may project into a required side yard provided every part of such carport is unenclosed except for necessary structural supports and not less than five feet from any side lot line.

The applicant is requesting a variance of four feet and six inches foot in the side yard to allow for a carport to be constructed six inches from the side property line.
