DESCRIPTION:<p>National Library Week is April 19-25.</p><h3>Free all week:</h3><p>To celebrate this year, we've partnered with the <a href="https://www.discoveryscienceplace.org/event/dsp-celebrates-national-library-week/" target="_blank">Discovery Science Place</a>. Bring your Tyler library card and obtain free entry to Discovery Science Place for a maximum of four people: 2 adults max (age 13 and up) and 2 children (age 2-12) per family/same household. (Or 1 adult and 3 children per family/same household.) Under age 2 is always free. Only April 19-25!<br><br>Please note that DSP is closed on Monday the 20th.</p><h3>Celebrations during National Library Week include:</h3><p>Monday, April 20: State of America's Libraries Report released, including Top Ten Frequently Challenged Books of 2019.</p><p>Tuesday, April 21: <a href="https://ala-apa.org/nlwd/" target="_blank">National Library Workers Day</a>, a day for library staff, users, administrators and Friends groups to recognize the valuable contributions made by all library workers.</p><p>Thursday, April 23: Take Action for Libraries Day, a day to rally advocates to support libraries.</p>
