The Tyler Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will host an open house on Tuesday, April 28, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Tyler Development Center, Large Conference Room, located at 423 W. Ferguson St.
This will be a come-and-go event. Staff from the MPO will be on hand to answer questions, provide information regarding the updates, and receive public feedback.
The Open House is to inform the community about estimated cost updates for two highway projects and two pedestrian projects included in the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) and the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
Projects include:
Widening of FM 2493 from Loop 323 to FM 2813
Widening of State Highway 31 from Loop 323 to County Road 236
UT Tyler pedestrian safety enhancement project
Tyler ISD traffic signal at Loop 323 and Lion Lane
